Well today was the big interview (and mini exam). They say they will take a week to let us know if she gets in or not, so fingers still crossed. Its a relief to have this part over and done with though.

All in all it sounds like it went reasonably well. The interview took place in front of a panel of 2 and as part of a group of 4. There was a preliminary exam to test numeracy and literacy. Literacy is no problem for Fe but to be fair it has been 20 years since anyone threw algebra at her! I mean to be fair how important is algebra in teaching under 5’s? Anyways I am absolutely confident she will get in, if not I have to really question the whole system.
