ouchRichard just emailed me in with this one. If I didn’t actually recognise the location I would of said it was one of those photo’s that does the rounds on the net… But this one is actually just down outside Renaisance in Onehunga!

Squirrel versus Grasshopper

Ive seen this posted elsewhere, there are UK, Australian and US versions basically the same. So we shouldn’t feel stink, the grass aint greener on the other side! But its still pretty funny.

The wild version:

The squirrel works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building and improving his house and laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks he’s a fool, and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. Come winter, the squirrel is warm and well fed. The shivering grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.
